Nadace Nový komorní orchestr z Polska hledá partnery z EU, kteří by měli zájem účastnit se následujících typů projektů: 1. školní a osvětové vzdělávací programy s důrazem na zpěv 2. rozvoj dovedností a repertoáru komorního orchestru 3. pořádání koncertů (včetně vyměn orchestrů na mezinárodní úrovni).

THE FOUNDATION

2001 Fundacja Nowa Orkiestra Kameralna established as a legal non-profitmaking entity in Poland.

OBJECTIVES
To create training and employment opportunities for professional musicians and singers.
To raise awareness of the value of music in society through education programmes for schools, contact with business and new audience creation.

ACTIVITIES
2001 The New Chamber Orchestra (NOK) is formed by young graduate musicians to play 17 th to 20 th century chamber music.
2002 the orchestra begins a monthly series of `Music by Candlelight` concerts at the Warsaw Evangelical Reform Church with the intention of gaining experience for the young players and building a new audience.
2003 The foundation co-produces with Roche Polska a production of Verdi`s Rigoletto. The cast included Andrzej Dobber.
2003 NOK guest of Lublin Philharmonic. Handel Messiah Overture, Mozart Clarinet Concerto (soloist Romuald Go3ebiowski - clarintet) and Mozart Symphony in A Major
2003 May. NOK: nationwide televised open air concert in Plac Zamkowy in collaboration with the Robert Schuman Foundation and in the presence of the President of Poland.
NOK audiences at the church candle light concerts reach 500 with a performance of Haydn`s Nelson Mass.
2003 The foundation organises the first of its music in business training events. This involves the HR department of Unilever Polska in a one day opera event and members of the orchestra.
2003 NOK begins monthly informal concerts for schools attended by up to 500 local children many of whom have no other contact with music.
2003 NOK begins monthly dinner-concert series entitled "Tasty Classics" aimed at the business community and developing links with business and the orchestra. 2004 NOK invited to return to Lublin Philharmonic. Fundacja NOK initiatives include "Proamatorska" , the first amateur orchestra in Warsaw to begin rehearsals in May. The community choir continues to grow.
