38. Mezinárodní filmový festival Indie IFFI má zájem o české filmy

Indické město Goa, nazývaném Římem Orientu, bude od 23. listopadu do 3. prosince 2007 hostit 38. Meinárodní filmový festival. Hlavní soutěžní sekce "Celovečerní film" je věnována filmům asijských, afrických a latinskoamerických režisérů. Další sekce se zaměřují například na "Světový film" či "Zahraniční retrospektivy". Součástí festivalu je "Bazar section" vyhrazena pro jednání o filmových právech, podporující společné projekty a napomáhající spolupráci v oblasti kinematografie. Termín přihlášek je do 30. 9.2007.
38th International Film Festival of India

Since 1952, India has hosted 37 International Film Festivals, both competitive and non-competitive. Thesefestivals became annual events from 1975 onwards. The next festival, which includes a competition for feature films by Asian/African/Latin American Directors, will be held in Goa and is the 38th edition.
Festival Regulations
The Festival is being organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Goa and the Indian Film Industry . The Festival is recognised by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).

Objectives
The Festival aims at providing a common platform for the cinematographies of the world to project theexcellence of the film art; contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of different nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos; and promoting friendship and cooperation among peoples of the world.
