Seminář předá účastníkům praktické znalosti jak pracovat rychle a efektivně s autorskými právy. Je určen pro filmové producenty, poskytovatele webových stránek a všechny ty, kteří pracují v media průmyslu a mají co do činění s autorskými právy (právníci, finanční experti) v oblasti hudby, textů, obrazového materiálu, či se zabývají osobními právy - ochrana soukromí...). Seminář se koná 17. a 18. září 2004 a přihlásit se je vhodné co nejdříve dokud jsou místa volná.

The Erich Pommer Institut: Rights Clearance seminar
The seminar will provide the participants with the necessary practical knowledge in how to clear rights fast and effectively.
Every film producer, every television network, every website provider has to clear rights for music, texts, images, (rights, privacy etc.. This is often a complicated, leghthly and costly process. Therefore, smaller companies don´t have the necessary resources. Bad not only for the producer but also for the right holder -part of his rights remain unexploited.
Teaching will combine theoretical and practical work "on the case". It will also provide the newest developments in clearing via collecting agencies, clearing one-stop-shops and other institutions.
Participation fee is 500,00 Euro incl. accommodation with breakfast and 350,00 Euro without accommodation. Teaching language will be English.
Please ask for scholarships and company discounts. The participation fee does not cover the costs for travel.
