Werkleitzova společnost - Mezinárodní workshopy Školy společného vlastnictví

Do 17. srpna 2004 je možnost se přihlásit na sérii 5tidenních workshopů a seminážů, kde skupiny mezinárodních kulturních producentů a umělců budou na informační bázi sdílet zkušenosti a znalosti alternativní, neinstitucionální, samoorganizované produkce s cílem rozvíjet nové formy uměleckých a kulturních akcí v rámci i mimo rámec akademických struktur.
Workshopy jsou pořádány se spolupráci s 6. Werkleitz bienále (1.- 5. září), jehož výchozím bodem kurátorské koncepce jsou konflikty a debaty, které vedou k zpřísnění, urychlenému vynucování patentových a/nebo copyrightových omezení v oblasti umění, filmu, hudby, softwaru a biotechnologii.
Jazykem workshopu bude angličtina, která i následuje za německým textem.

Im Zusammenhang mit der in der 6. Werkleitz Biennale geführten Auseinandersetzung um Wissen als Allgemeingut veranstaltet die Werkleitz Gesellschaft unmittelbar vor den Festivaltagen vom 27. bis 31. August 2004 eine Reihe von fünftägigen Workshops und Seminaren unter dem Titel Halle School of Common Property.
In mehreren Workshops werden internationale KünstlerInnengruppen und ProduzentInnen, die im Rahmen informeller (also bewusst alternativer, selbstorganisierter, ausserinstitutioneller) Wissensproduktion arbeiten, gemeinsam mit den TeilnehmerInnen neue Formen der Kunst- und Kulturproduktion in und außerhalb akademischer Strukturen entwickeln.

Der zunächst angekündigte Workshop mit Dennis Kaspori (Niederlande) muss leider ersatzlos entfallen.
Die Halle School of Common Property wendet sich an alle Interessierten aus dem In- und Ausland. Erste Ergebnisse der Arbeitsgruppen werden auf der 6. Werkleitz Biennale präsentiert. Darüber hinaus soll die Veranstaltung als Kondensationspunkt für weitergehende Projekte dienen - angestrebt wird ein nachhaltiger Austausch zwischen den einzelnen Gruppen und TeilnehmerInnen.
Die Arbeitssprache in allen Workshops ist Englisch. Die Anzahl der Plätze ist begrenzt. Die Anmeldefrist endet am 17. August 2004. Der Zeitpunkt des Eingangs vom ausgefüllten Anmeldeformular im Büro der Werkleitz Gesellschaft entscheidet über die Teilnahme am Workshop.

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 17 AUGUST 2004
Within the context of the 6th Werkleitz Biennale's debates on knowledge as common property, the Werkleitz Gesellschaft will organise a 5-day series of workshops and seminars under the title Halle School of Common Property from 27 to 31 August 2004, directly preceding the festival.
(6th Werkleitz Biennale Common Property/ Allgemeingut, 1 to 5 September 2004)
In a number of workshops international cultural producers and artist groups working within the frame of informal (that is deliberately alternative, self-organised, non-institutional) knowledge production will invite participants to develop new forms of artistic and cultural production within and outside academic structures.

Much to our regret, the announced workshop with Dennis Kaspori had to be cancelled.
The Halle School of Common Property addresses a national and international audience. Some first results of the workshops will be presented at the 6th Werkleitz Biennale. In addition, the event is intended to serve as a condensation point for a continuing exchange between the individual groups and participants.
All workshops will be held in English. The number of participants is restricted. The deadline for registrations is 17 August 2004. Participation in the workshops depends on the date of arrival of the filled application form at the office of Werkleitz Gesellschaft.
