- rozměry, dynamika a vývoj příznivců a publika mezinárodního kreativního sektoru bylo téma loňské konference 33 zemí Evropy, Ameriky a Latinské Ameriky, která se konala za účasti expertů na Texaské univerzitě v Austinu za podpory UNESCO. Nyní je k dispozici závěrečná zpráva, která se zabývá nejen definicí této nové oblasti ale i kulturní politikou a jejím dopadem na kreativní sektor či strategické nástroje, které rozšiřují jeho příznivce. Konference byla druhým setkáním UNESCO o kulturním průmyslu.
The International Creative Sector - UNESCO meeting report now available
On June 5-7, 2003 the Center organized a convening of 33 European, American and Latin American experts to explore how cultural participation and audience development differ among Europe, the United States, and Latin America, titled the "International Creative Sector." Hosted by the University of Texas in Austin and sponsored by the Center, UNESCO, and the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities, the conference was second in a series of UNESCO meetings about current issues in the arts and cultural industries.
