Culture 2007 - nový program kulturní spolupráce v EU pro období 2007-2013
14. července 2004 navrhla Evropská komise nový program kulturní spolupráce pro léta 2007-2013. Ambiciózní návrh nové generace programů v oblasti vzdělání, kultury, mládeže a audiovizuálního sektoru by měl byt schválen Radou ministrů a Evropským parlamentem na konci roku 2005 a to pro léta 2007-2013. Culture 2007 by měl stimulovat evropskou kulturní spolupráci díky podpoře 3 následujících sfér: 1) podpoře kulturních projektů, 2) podpoře kulturní spolupráce organizací a 3) podporou výzkumu, shromažďování a rozšiřování informací o kulturní spolupráci. Celkový rozpočet, který by měl byt vyčleněn na období 7 let je 408 milionů Euro.
Culture 2007: the Commission has proposed a new cultural cooperation programme for the period 2007-2013.
On 14 July, the European Commission adopted ambitious proposals for the next generation of EU programmes in education and training, culture, youth and the audiovisual sector. The aim is to have the new programmes approved by the Council of Ministers and the European Parliament by the end of 2005. They will run from 2007 to 2013.
As the Commission announced in its Communication of 9 March 2004, the new programme, called Culture 2007, aims to do even more to strengthen cultural cooperation than its predecessors, in particular Culture 2000, by focusing Community action on three objectives which provide high European added value: the transnational mobility of all those working in the cultural sector, the transnational circulation of artistic and cultural works, and intercultural dialogue.
Each of the projects funded under the programme will thus have to combine at least two of these objectives.
More specifically, Culture 2007 will be composed of three strands in order to give cultural cooperation in Europe as much structural support as possible :
- Support for cultural projects
- Support for European cultural cooperation organisations
- Support for studies and the gathering and dissemination of information on cultural cooperation issues.
A total budget of EUR 408 million has been earmarked for the period 2007-2013.
