Druhý termín European Cultural Foundation (ECF) v letošním roce je 15. září 2006 a je určen pro projekty, které budou zahájeny po listopadu tohoto roku. Evropská kulturní nadace podporuje projekty evropské kulturní výměny a spolupráce malých a středně velkých nezávislých kulturních organizací, které pracují nadregionálně a mezioborově. Od roku 2006 se při podpoře zaměřuje na projekty, které zahrnují téma diversity.
The ECF Grants Programme supports projects that promote European cultural exchange and cooperation.
We fund small and medium-sized independent cultural organizations that work on cross-border and inter-regional projects.
We have two annual grant rounds. The next deadline for applications is 15 September 2006 -for projects starting after November 2006-.
From 2006, the ECF will give extra attention to issues of diversity. This will also be expressed in the Grants that we award.

When ‘cultural clashes' are feared; when diversity is seen by many as a threat, not a resource; when, in alarmist populism, a collective ‘we' is invoked and pitched against a collective ‘them'.
And when that when is now... Then we know that we are living through difficult times, and that we have much work to do.
Unquestionably, issues of diversity demand to be addressed. From 2006, the ECF will give this hugely important topic the detailed and long-term attention it deserves.
We will explore artistic and cultural approaches to people's actual experiences of diversity. And campaign for cultural policies and conditions that help to make these experiences positive ones.
