hungryhouse.co.uk is looking to recruit an energetic person to establish and lead its Design Department, based in Prague.

This is an exciting role where you can really make your mark on a business that is becoming a high profile consumer brand in the UK. The company is rapidly expanding and has grown from 3 staff in Prague 3 years ago to now have about 30 now. If you're ambitious, the potential is there to develop in the role, lead the company to become a more design oriented business, and do some great work for your CV.

As with any entrepreneurial start-up company, the job is broad and projects will be varied and challenging on a day to day basis. You will have input into the creative direction, always focussing on how great creative work can improve our marketing strategies - so you will need a  passion for branding. The successful candidate can expect to work in one or more of the following areas:

    Branding and brand development
    Web design - creative & usability
    Online and offline advertising design and production
    Graphics, illustration and/or photography for email advertising and social media
    Design of point of sale and shop signage materials
    & much more!

The position is based in Vinohrady, Prague 2, and the successful candidate will possess:

    At least 2 years commercial experience, including design for the web
    Great skills with all of the following programs/technologies: Adobe CS, CSS, HTML or HTML5, ect.
    Fluent written and spoken English (native or C2 English required)
    Initiative and resourcefulness to work unsupervised
    Ability to meet deadlines
    Strong communication skills
    Big interest in design and creative
    Valid visa to work in the Czech Republic
    Have or willing to acquire Czech Self Employment License (Zivnostensky list)
