Autoři literárních próz, esejisté, scénaristé, rozhlasoví reportéři a pod., kteří plánují své texty vydat v němčině nebo chtějí prozkoumat region střední a východní Evropy se mohou přihlásit o podporu Nadace Roberta Bosche. Cílem je umožnit pobyt ve střední a východní Evropě, coby autentickém místě. Samotná publikace by měla být pro široké publikum a měla by inspirovat k přemýšlení a střední a východní Evropě. Termíny podání přihlášek je 10. března 2006.

Border crossers – Researches in Central and Eastern European Countries
If you want to discover Central and Eastern European Countries, if you are planning a publication in German about Central and Eastern Europe or want to research in this region, you are invited to apply for a scholarship from the Robert Bosch Foundation. The Foundation is offering scholarships for authors with a personal point of view, who are interested in first-hand information and who want to visit authentic places. The publications should be for a big audience, should inspire discussions and open the audience´s minds to Central and Eastern Europe. The Foundation offers scholarships for literary prose, essays, screenplays, radio-reportages and similar kinds of productions.
The scholarship pays for the research-fees (journey, accomodation, interpreters and translators). If you don´t have a regular income, you can also apply for additional allowance of 1000 Euro per month. Applications are possible every year by March 10th or September 10th.

Grenzgänger – Recherchen in Mittel- und Osteuropa
Wer Mittel- und Osteuropa entdecken möchte, wer eine Veröffentlichung über Mittel- und Osteuropa plant und auf Recherchereise Richtung Osten aufbrechen möchte, kann sich um die „Grenzgänger”-Stipendien der Robert Bosch Stiftung bewerben. Gesucht werden Autoren, die einen eigenen Blick wagen, Informationen aus erster Hand sammeln und authentische Orte besuchen wollen. Die Veröffentlichungen sollen ein breites Publikum erreichen können, zu Diskussionen anregen und mehr Verständnis für die Länder Mittel- und Osteuropas wecken. Willkommen sind literarische und essayistische Prosa, aber auch andere Formen wie Drehbücher und Hörfunkreportagen.
Gefördert werden die Recherchekosten (Reise, Unterkunft, Dolmetscher- und Übersetzerkosten). Und wer kein festes Einkommen hat, kann einen Zuschuß zu den Lebenshaltungskosten in Höhe von 1000 Euro beantragen. Bewerben kann man sich jährlich zum 10. März und 10. September.
