Stipendijní pobyt v De Vos Institute for Arts Management byl založen Michaelem M. Kaiserem v roce 2001. Stipendium je určeno arts manažerům a manažerkám, kteří za sebou mají minimálně pět let praxe v oblasti arts managementu. Prostřednictvím výuky ve strategii arts managementu by mělo stipendium manažer/ky připravit pro práci v komplexním uměleckém prostředí dneška. Devítiměsíční stipendium začne v září 2012. Uzávěrka pro předkládání přihlášek je 1. dubna 2012.

Founded by Kennedy Center President Michael M. Kaiser in 2001, the Fellowship at the DeVos Institute for Arts Management is an immersive program in arts management strategy designed to prepare mid-career arts managers for executive positions in today’s complex arts environment.
Hosted at one of the largest and most dynamic performing arts institutions, the Fellowship offers a structured blend of academic training, hands-on work experience,
independent and collective learning opportunities, and personalized mentoring. Fellows develop close working relationships with Kennedy Center leadership, complete
significant projects within the context of the Kennedy Center, and are connected to a vast network of DeVos Institute alumni throughout the United States and in 39 countries worldwide.

The Fellowship includes:
Weekly courses taught by Kennedy Center senior staff in strategic planning, development, marketing, and finance
Seminars in special topic areas including law, technology, programming, and education
Practical rotations in three Kennedy Center departments
The design and completion of independent projects in partnership with the DeVos Institute
Participation in capacity building activities led by the DeVos Institute
Participation in major Kennedy Center events
The nine-month, full time program begins September 2012. Participants will receive a $20,000 living allowance, program materials, and reimbursement for health insurance coverage. Fellows also have the opportunity to receive tickets to performances at the Kennedy Center and relocation assistance.
Applicant Criteria
A minimum of 5 years of professional arts management experience*
Bachelor's degree in the arts or a related discipline
Demonstrated knowledge of issues in arts management
*The curriculum of the nine-month Fellowship is designed for arts managers with a primary interest working in business environments with philanthropic models similar to those found in the United States. International arts managers are strongly encouraged to consider whether a program of this nature, or one designed specifically for international audiences, better suits their needs at this point in their career.
